I confess, I'm amazed. What IS it with some of the people on this site? It's supposed to be a nice, friendly site...where anybody can come on and enjoy themselves, in what ever way takes their fancy; and as long as everyone observes some basic rules of etiquette, it ought to work out that way.

But DO they? Oh, no. Just this last week, we've had at least one individual (naming no names, since that's not really my place to do that), spouting all kinds of racist bullcrap. I guess a lot of folk figure that an interracial site is fair game for that kind of xenophobic claptrap...but why? That kind of thing shoulda gone out with the Ark; unfortunately, I'm guessing that too many folk over that side of The Pond can remember this kind of stuff still current during their own lifetimes... Is it any wonder that the 'Delete Account' thread has been getting more than its fair share of posters this week?
