Wife and I are about to embark on a threesome with a hot black male.  It was husband's primary idea but wife finally came around.  A sex therapist advised us against it saying that in her experience with other couples who were into swinging is that after the initial thrill and enjoyment it tended to make sex between the husband and wife less special.  We would love to hear from other couples who have done it and how they feel about it?

Well if you don't take the advice of a qualified therapist then the only thing to do is try it and see for yourself...if it doesn't work out like you wanted then it doesn't...the therapist advised you and looks like you are looking for validation as to why you should do it...looks like you had your mind made up to do in spite of your therapist consultation

Hubby and I have been swinging for 35 yrs and the sex with each other is still outstanding. My advice to you and everyone is sex with others is just for fun and exciting but not for romance or love.

If it's what you think you'll both want then try it and see how it feels. If you both decide not to do it again then there's no harm. Just be open and honest about what you want from the experience and lay down good ground rules from the beginning. We have tried to hook uop twice and were stood up both times. We have also had a threesome with a close friend of mine and that was hot but turned out disaster because we didn't consider the ground rules. But in fairness it all happened quickly and spontaneously, so there was no chance to talk about ground rules.
