I don't really think either hypnosis or LW are dangerous I was just trying to make a point that hypnosis is up front and consensual, LW just isn't. As for 'natural' that's a baffling statement given the state of trance is already similar to dreaming, and really refers to any state of flowing experience where someone is really immersed in the thing they focus on. Is hearing a bed time story, watching a film, porn, listening to music unnatural? It's just the purpose and the deliberate use of the suggestible state of mind that is different. The only difference between hypnosis and LW is that the person being hypnotised actually agrees and is aware of what is going on.
