I'm not sure if anyone has had this feeling, but I'm at the point where I can't watch porn anymore. When I say porn I mean scripted paid performance porn. Let me start of by saying that I been in a TON of diverse sexual situations and I have a regular amount of sex, so the idea of me just being burnt out on porn isn't there. I still watch porn, but I just have to watch amateur (real) porn. Some of the video that are posted on here seem to be fake, but every now and then you come across those that aren't. So, long story short, has anyone else had this issue with scripted porn??

With the advent of good, inexpensive video cameras plus things like Final Cut Pro, the majors are finding they have a lot of competition out there. In fact it's a threat to many of them. Now with the internet there is more variety than ever before so almost anyone's niche can be found on line. If you want a good, in depth look at this I'd recommend reading, "The Long Tail." The author goes into what is happening to almost every area that used to rely on block buster hits.
And who would have thought that wives and girlfriends don't seem to mind doing something daring like having sex with a person who's not their partner or crossing interracial lines. Now they don't have to be a pro to indulge in porn.
I think the major producers with their pre-formatted shoots have caused their own problems and are now suffering the consequences. Now ones that can compete will while the others will be come memories.
So variety might be the spice for many but it's not good for those that can't work outside of the box. I'll take those working outside of the standard format.

Yea, I feel the exact same way - professional porn just doesn't do it for me anymore, I can only watch REAL porn - amateur. There is some really good clips out there too

Without a doubt, Porn has progressivly gotten worse. Late 70's to late 80"s was about it for me. It really started getting boring. Same old shit. Give me real amateur stuff any day of the week.

I never liked professional porn because it always seemed so contrived and lacking in spontaneity. The people on the screen were physically attractive but they all seemed so stiff and wooden. The first porn movie I can recall seeing was "Deep Throat" and I may have been the only guy in the theater who thought it was a silly movie. I didn't it find remotely stimulating. I remember the opening scene where Linda Lovelace is walking toward the camera but from a distance. The hem of the dress she was wearing was above her knees and all I could think about was that she was terribly knock-kneed. I wondered why the director wanted us to see her legs. Anyway, I prefer amateur porn but I could live without the ones with musical selections that are too loud, distracting and don't have anything to do with what is being shown. The worst are those where a television or radio is left blaring and you can hear news reports. I'm grateful, however, to the people who do have the panache to share their intimate moments with us.

All honesty,
I havent watched porn since around 17-18-19.
The reason is once I started meeting more freaky ass women, there was no need to watch it.
The bs story lines, the skinny ass women that look like and are built like men; I found way better looking women, with way better bodies, and some just as nasty, and some not so nasty in regular life!
Instead of watching porn I would rather make my own.
Same thing with strip clubs; I've been to one strip club in my life because I've been fortunate
to have women in my life that fuck me well and strip for me.
