It's sad Thick, but the example that you just shared is the reality for most in black America. A lot of effeminate men that have very poor logic, and critical thinking skills. Two men don't go back and forth trying to get in the last word and fussing with each other that's what women do but it's becoming more and more the norm amoungst black men. You only have to look at the hate crime statistics and you will see that over half of all hate crimes are directed squarely at blacks (more than all the other groups put together). Even those who committed 9/11 and other atrocities to try and destroy America are more or less given a pass. I believe a lot of whites thrive on their hatred and ridiculing of black people, almost as if they find it good or healthy for their well-being. And don't hand me that crap about black people hate as much too. Well, of course, as a reaction, why not? I'm not down with that turn the other cheek biblical stuff. What's good for me is good for you.

You only have to see their reaction to some black people who are doing well, for eg dressed normally or conservatively and driving a nice car. It usually elicits reactions of making fun of them or expressions of outright hate. I always remember driving past a small local theatre and seeing a lovely young black girl (probably no more than 9 or 10) wearing a very elegant school uniform with a matching hat sitting quietly on the steps reading a book, probably waiting for someone to pick her up. She wasn't doing anything untoward or silly or attracting unwanted attention to herself. As I said, she was sitting quietly engaging in something constructive (reading). Any father would be proud to see his daughter being so composed and well-behaved. Waiting at a traffic signal, there was a white couple in a nearby vehicle (and they were not crude or rough bumpkin types, in case you're wondering). You could see from the way their body language, the way the were looking at her and talking about her it was obvious just how much resentment the sight of her provoked. That is how a lot of them are.


From what I have seen, overwhelmingly when they manifest their bigotry or dislike, is almost always very clearly focused at blacks. So while I do agree with your aspirations for correcting some obvious flaws, rest assured as I've said even if were all blacks were middle-class professionals, and behaved accordingly, hate and bigotry will be very much alive, though manifested differently with black people bearing the brunt of it. So please park the BS and platitudes about "moving beyond mistakes of the past" or that "there is always some racism between all groups". I have never seen them show such visceral reactions toward other groups. Besides, what I'm talking about is not in the past but in the very present.

Obviously, more and more black people , especially those who are doing everything right are coming to this realization and are saying enough is enough; no matter what we do these people will always hate us, and are therefore beginning to treat them the same way they behave toward black people.

Hate generates hate. What's good for one is good for the other. May this continue.
