I think it is the white mans fault. Throughout the decades they have always put thier women on a pedestal with movies and the early editions of playboy portraying white female beauty. On the other hand black men were always on the opposite end of that pole portraying us as dangerous , dirty, uneducated etc. Times change and the curiosity got the better of most white women which help to give birth to the BBC theory and the sexual savage prowless of black sex, which gave away to interracial sex just after world war 2. During the sexual revolution in the 60's and 70's the ones who were mainly at the forefront fighting for equality were black men and white women. White men did sleep with black women but they always kept it in the dark and sense white women were still on that pedestal (at the time) and black men the under dog. It was taboo for them to be together in anyway. fast forward not much is even known about the other cultures sexual practices outside a few rumors. Arab and Asian cultures were even more strict than white cultures about interracial dating or even sex. The excitement just isn't there when you think of an asian man having sex with a paki woman even though it is interracial there are no stereotypes to build off of. Besides the stereotype is that most black men are known for screwing anything thats female with a pulse.
