![]() 20 Years Together: Thank You — and What We’re Doing Next
Friends, On behalf of our entire team: thank you. For nearly 20 years, you’ve built and kept this community alive. A special thank-you to everyone who paid for subscriptions—your support literally kept the servers running, and whatever remained helped pay our team. Without you, this site would not exist. We’re sorry for slow replies from support. We read everything, but we’re answering more slowly than we’d like. That’s not an excuse—here are the facts: • Since April 2025, our billing provider temporarily paused accepting payments from new users and stopped payouts on all rebills. • At the same time, new compliance requirements landed—negotiations with processors, engine changes, and new workflows. • The result: we’re keeping the site going after our day jobs, on pure grit and our own dime. We also want to recognize those who tried to support the site anyway. From April 2025 onward, absolutely everyone who attempted to purchase a subscription received VIP for free. That was deliberate: your commitment matters more than a transaction until billing is restored. Where we are now • We’ve rolled out compliance tools inside each gallery to cut confusion. Every photo/video gallery requires its own document set. • We’re in active talks with payment partners and assessing alternatives. • We’re stabilizing hosting and core features while we map the road ahead. What you can do today 1. If you have content, upload documents inside the relevant galleries (each gallery needs its own set). That’s the fastest path to unblur. 2. Share constructive priorities—what’s most critical to fix first. 3. Want to help as a volunteer (moderation, testing, localization, tech checks)? Reply in this thread. 4. Keep the tone helpful and respectful—it lifts the whole community (and the team). Our commitment We’ll communicate honestly and regularly, protect the community, and make decisions in users’ interests. We’re not perfect, but we’re present—and we’re not quitting. Thank you for your trust and patience. We believe in this community and will do everything we can to preserve it. With respect and gratitude, The Team |
