HELP name title of movie..
 

This isnt a porn movie,was a "made for TV" movie and cant remember the name of it,thought this will be the appropiate forum to ask.I think it was set in the early 1900's and probably made around the 1980s or 90s.

A white woman and her white husband go to Africa for some reason.I recall they meet some other white male tourists there and get along well with them.I think the wife almost has an affair with one of these men (Im not sure though,I may be getting mixed up with another movie).I know the husband becomes sick and dies in some remote African village and shes left strandard in the desert only to be picked up by some Arab man and his followers.This Arab guy takes her to his home as one of his wives without her fully understanding the situation,she is a reluctant participant to his sexual advances at first but gives in after a while.I think she escapes and manages to make it back to some American embassy to go back to America.

Im sure this is how the plot of the movie pans out,although I may be getting two movie storylines mixed.I saw it a couple of years ago....

Anyone have a clue?

The Wind and the Lion is definately one of the movies and is based on an event that happened when Teddy Rosevelt was president.....darn good movie. The Arab submised that he was like the lion....fiercly controlling all in his domain while Mr President is like the wind and cast his control over all the land.....rent it....you will enjoy.......Shimp

No its not The Wind and the Lion,I dont think there are any well known actors in it(maybe one).The movie Im talking about the white woman and her husband go to africa.Her husband dies in a remote village from some illness which leaves her stranded on her own, she is then picked up by some Arab guy and his followers(she willing goes with him) towards the end of the movie.The Arab guy makes sexual advances towards her only for her to reject them at first.When they reach his home she is locked in a room catered to by the Arabs wives in an attempt to get her to become a wife to him aswell.She escapes somehow.This is as much as I can remember,for the most part she is in the movie with her husband,the Arab guy only comes in towards the end.

OK I think I found it...Its called "The sheltering sky" starring John Malkovich and Debra Winger.Im sure this is the movie.
