Words are merely nothing and are useless. Until you give a word a meaning it is just letters grouped together which obviously our race has failed to realize because we are so busy fighting each other and living the urban lifestlye.

I am real, a proud African American, and personally do not care if a white woman calls me a nigger in a positive environment simply because the word does not have any power over me and I refuse to give it power.

All words have meaning and all words have power. When God spoke things came into being and he created us in his likeness.
Everything begins with a thought, then it turns into words and then words turn into deeds.
I do not doubt that you are a proud man of African origin but you are simply turning a blind eye and living in denial.
As black people we have to develop a thick skin and we ignore harsh words like water off a ducks back.

I can find myself being turned on by white women using the N word during sex. I can even see myself being turned on by role playing as a slave to a white mistress. But just because I am not offended in a playful context doesn't mean that I am not fully aware of the meaning, original intent and origin of the N word.
I wish the word never existed but we have to live with it and there are times and places where I can tolerate it. Music and film are examples of this tolerance.

First of all God is a divine deity so unless you all omnipresent, all knowing, and all power then saying something will not be so. Even the power that is given to Christians through the holy spirit must be spoken in God's, Jesus's or the Holy Spirit's name to have any authority.

I do agree with you partly. We as black people do need to learn how to ignore things more often which would stop all the violence since majority of the things we squabble over are stupid. I do not however agree with black people being hypocritical with the n-word. If it is not ok for white people to say it around you then black people should not be able to say it either regardless of it being used in media or not. Nigga still means the same thing as nigger so you still have blacks stereotyping each other like a bunch of fools so either say it is ok for everyone to say it or no one says it at all.
