When did the name "Becky" start referring to white girls?

I always thought it was "Betty" like betty rubble from the flintstones. She was the cute one.

I dunno. I think black women came up with that shit. "A Becky". I always calls 'um "Heidis". You ever met a black chick named "Heidi"? I ain't never. Here go a "Heidi" and a "Becky" right here :D

According to Plies, "Becky" is referring to the act of fellatio. Plies terms the act "Becky" because of the widely held notion and/or stereotype that Caucasian women are somewhat more sexually liberal in terms of frequency of encounters, random partnering, and overall lasciviousness. With "Becky" being a popular name given to females at birth in the White society, one can assume that Plies simply chose this name because of its unique association to "Whiteness", particularly where the female is concerned.

Never heard that in my life, nobody I've ever met heard about it and my real name IS Becky.

Well ain't that some shit? Even Becky don't know what "a Becky" is! That's like asking what ebonics is while speaking in it at the same time LOLOLOL :D!!! Well, the expression hasn't been around all that long really. And, you would really have to be familiar with what's going down in the latest black lingo to be hip to it. When I was in college, some of the white frat guys had a generic name for black guys . . . "a Nate" . . . LOLOLOLOL :D

And I really started noticing it recently. I think it is from the Six Mixalot Song Baby Got Back. I always assumed it was from that song and never thought twice about it. I'm pretty sure that is the origin.

I always thought it came from the Plies song Becky.

Good chance it's from Rebecca-- Jewish girls were know to prefer interracial relationships more than most, and Rebecca is a Jewish name. In my own travels, I've noticed that Jewish girls are markedly less inhibited than others. :)
