I never liked professional porn because it always seemed so contrived and lacking in spontaneity. The people on the screen were physically attractive but they all seemed so stiff and wooden. The first porn movie I can recall seeing was "Deep Throat" and I may have been the only guy in the theater who thought it was a silly movie. I didn't it find remotely stimulating. I remember the opening scene where Linda Lovelace is walking toward the camera but from a distance. The hem of the dress she was wearing was above her knees and all I could think about was that she was terribly knock-kneed. I wondered why the director wanted us to see her legs. Anyway, I prefer amateur porn but I could live without the ones with musical selections that are too loud, distracting and don't have anything to do with what is being shown. The worst are those where a television or radio is left blaring and you can hear news reports. I'm grateful, however, to the people who do have the panache to share their intimate moments with us.
