About myself/ourselves

35, m, white - naturally submissive... I dunno what began my fascination with black people, but growing up in the 80s I guess Roots, Michael Jackson (he was black then), Cosby Show, Eddie MurPhy, Richard Pryor. Then the athletes. I watched the olympics a lot and saw Carl Lewis and all these other beautiful black people winning the 'real men' disciplines like long jump, running etc. Then with hip hop landing in my area in 1985 with run dmc I followed that. Then along came Spike Lee and did Do The Right Thing which really made me feel like whites just sucked in general and that the community spirit we'd lost was more alive in the ghetto. Also I am very passionate about helping other people and feel guilt a lot even for stuff that isn't necessarily my fault. So I made sure my group collected most money for Africa in 86, and the stuff on tv still haunts me. Images I just could not believe and found so unfair. Made me sick. 90s come by and more films Boys N the Hood, New Jack City and my personal favorite Menace II Society. I read Malcolm X's autobio in 94 and liked his earlier years as a hustler in the 1930/40s, and womanizer with the white ladies, back when it was very risky to both parties, having to meet in secret and keep very quiet. Started hanging with the weed-smokers who were into hiphop and reggae and embraced every aspect of african american culture. Caught up on stuff I'd missed like blacksploitation movies from the 70s and the original Shaft series. Somehow all this put together has made me I guess a white guy who wishes he was black lol. He isn't, so he's submissive and knows his place in the world and if he'd been in a relationship he'd certainly encourage his woman to try black.
