It is understandable that you would be unhappy about not being told. I would suggest you turn this into an opportunity. Think about what you want the most and then have her do it to make it up to you. I hope it might involve video photo or at least a story you can share.

I guess you have a right to be a little bit upset but not angry. She only did what comes natural. Swallow your pride and your jealousy and instead PRAISE her for seizing the opportunity to do something that she really needed to do and wanted to do. Encourage her to do much more, but ask her to let you watch and to clean up/
