I am no expert on these matters, but I would suggest that only the most hard-core and truly dedicated to the lifestyle consider this option. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be made sexually impotent on the 'hubby's part, but isn't that what chastity devices are for? Their advantage is that they can be put on and removed at will, with no lasting effects. If a 'lifestyle' couple eventually gets divorced, or loses interest in it, or the man changes his mind about losing his potency, then they - or the male - can more easily re-adjust, if there is no permanent 'castration' involved.
