That was my wife’s response, “Really?! A black guy, why?!”
She’d never had any decent experiences dealing with black guys from her previous jobs and growing up, her family was always against her dating black guys. It took me several years of convincing her to look past that and get to know someone personally. As we lived in Baltimore, she worked in the city, so she’d always get hit up on and flirted with. It wasn’t until she finally eased up on her past thinking and experiences and began letting herself get closer to them to where she’d start telling me about certain guys who hit up in her that she actually liked and would be willing to try having sex with. Finally while away on a business trip she met a guy she really liked and let him have her while in Houston. Needless to say, it was very enjoyable for her, that continued right up until we moved to Hawaii in 2012. Looking back her reaction to my suggestion was priceless, considering I’ve had the pleasure of seeing her first hand have some incredible moments with black guys.
