The point of very young being the age of some of our kids is a psychological barrier that has to be understood and respected. There are just plain intergenerational cultural issues as well - different values, likes and dislikes, etc. You might point out that its just the sex, but most women need more of a connection to maximize the intimacy. There is also the balance of stamina against experience and control. Additionally, younger people more often (but not all) are less responsible. This is also an issue with single guys more generally. Fewer personal entanglements and responsibilities makes it difficult to appreciate the importance of some values of those who are fully laden with them. There is a sense that there is too young, as much as there is too old. There is also a variable concern that the guy will say anything to get some and will lie about things like STD testing. Also worth nopting is that many women experientially know there is more of a risk of stalkers with younger men.

It's not a personal judgment on an individual or even the whole class, but a sense of comfort that is needed to relax and enjoy the play.
