The wife deserves sex and doing other men has never been a problem for her or my letting her. Setting her up is a new issue but I will tell you that she is aware of my doing so or will become aware if contact and communication means that another man is interested. Recently, a man was concerned and questioned if the wife knew about this arrangement about to take place. I responded saying that he had not yet indicated that he was interested. How committed is your relationship if you feel you have to trick your wife/gf into playing with another man? You run more risk of it all blowing up on you doing it this way than just manning up and having that awkward conversation with her about your supposed needs and desires pursuant to this. It all works out great in fantasies, but real life is usually different in this regard. If you are really that close, or want to be, you need to lay the cards out, as does she. If you cannot or you end up incopatible as a result, then you are both wasting time. A woman will generally appreciate honesty and confidence more than anything else in a man. This proposed approach demonstrates lack of both of them. But if you do drop it all on her, there might be shock initially. Give it time to sink in and don't push things. Cheating, having an affair or, even setting up a girlfriend or wife can be defined as abuse, deception and, ultimately a lie. Because one's partner has extra-marital sex does not meant that they are cheating, etc. unless the other does not know about said affairs. Sharing with one's partner about extra-marital relationships simply means that there is not any deceiving, nor any lies, etc. that define cheating, an affair. An affair makes for a lack of trust, a lack of safety. Feeling safe in a relationship means that partners are not vulnerable.

Interesting responses... I didn't expect people to be so 'correct' about it.
It's true that it's a fantasy, as in I haven't done it yet. But it's not a fantasy in a sense that this is definitely something on my to do list, when I find the right guy.

It's good that you point out about her potentially being very upset over it. I will make sure that she knows that I don't see affairs as big of a deal as some other people. I understand that we are not by nature monogamous species and cheating can suddenly happen to anyone (not going into psychological advantages of it). I will make sure she knows that cheating is only if she does it behind my back, and as long as she comes clean, I will not be mad (rather than fucking some guy for years, while I pay for her education, for example).

Secondly, I do not believe this is 'deception'. I am simply offering an opportunity, that most likely will present itself naturally to her anyway. The rest is up to her free will and her inner desires. I am personally open to both possibilities: her cheating, or remaining faithful despite a perfect opportunity. I am actually very curious as to what would happen.

The word "cheating" was mentioned and your response, Jand, is right on. There should be no deception between husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend. If my wife was not already on board with extra-marital sexual encounters, the two of us would have to have an agreement. Why would I set my wife up to do something she did not want to do?

I sent an old friend into the house. He wanted to talk to her about something. I knew that she was in the master shower and would be getting out. I simple told him that she was in the master bedroom. Communication is necessary to any relationship. If one of you disagree then the answer is no. Both must be on board or cheating occurs.

My wife does not ask permission to be sexual with others. She already knows that I've given her permission. Not that she needed permission but that we both agree on this subject. If I call her when she is out of town and tell her to go to another hotel bar, she will know that she will be approached; if the guy does not chicken out.

While I was in the military in San Diego, I set up my wife with the guy who lived across the way from us and we knew his wife also. Just for fun I told him she would be at a club waiting for me and for him to see if he could make a date with her or get her to leave with him.
