Default Be Respectful of the Past

Both my mother and mother-in-law went black when younger. My mother concieved a son between the pregnancies that produced my oldler sister and I. The "father" was a black man. The family doctor kept that secret (except from mom) and no doubt kept others. Alas, mom miscarried.

My older sister Jeanne, went black while in college, as did I. Both of us were impregnated. Jeanne gave birth from her first, while I miscarried from my first.

My mother-in-law regularly went black into my husband's teenage years.
