Just an update. We had a really good experience finally. We met a guy through Craigslist that my wife liked. We have had sex meet ups several times, but now that gentleman is deployed. We are looking again and it still seems like only one in ten replies is genuine. I would concur that you should make phone contact as soon as possible. We have been stood up once, and I blame myself for not demanding a phone call. What is interesting is that there are some guys who won't call because they think somehow that will open them up to a scam. I think he's paranoid, it not like I wanted him to call Nigeria. Yes, It can be difficult on both sides, I know there have been times I've contacted and spoken with couples only to find out it is some flaky guy who just wants to steal pics. Now I have had some success but like you said, you have to make sure you make phone contact and it is smart to agree to meet in public first. I once got stood up outside Pittsburgh and I had provided the room. Live and learn I guess. I've learned not to rush.
