I can admit I signed up and avoided the cam for the longest time. One reason, I really am not that social in the real world and I worried about what I would say . . .etc. but I have to say Mustang/Dirtygirl and couple others made that ish so damn easy. Now I feel as though every member should get on cam within a week of signing up. Verification = trust.

The issue is that it is very easy to photoshop a text on a note on a photo.

I just assume that anyone NOT willing to be verified on cam is a fake. No exceptions, no excuses. Nearly all computers come with built in cams, if not, webcams are cheap. Want to protect your privacy somewhat, conceal your face a little, dark glasses, a hat etc. Again, anyone NOT willing to go on cam, or who makes some kind of lame excuse, is a fake. Possible exceptions for someone who uses skype etc., who makes the extra effort to be verified by Mustang or other well known members. Prove you really exist and are really who you say you are or get the hell out. Yes, for what it's worth, I have been on cam myself, several times.

Plz explain why you feel it's a bad idea. Also you mention viewing same faces in chat, are you speaking of viewing cams?

Yes so many are stolen but that's not me. I've verified so many people here some are very VERY important people. I've never once snapped a pic or recorded anything!!! Not my style. As steel mentioned wear glasses or show from the chin down. It's not like you're required to suck a blk dildo on cam. Hell least with skype it's a normal setting. Just a hi and bye.

i consider privacy to be an issue. Just looking around on web forums and social networks gives me the creeps. So many pics and videos actually stolen, altered, put in another context, etc. We have to be aware that the internet is a public place and data can be copied, changed, multiplied, etc. i just don`t want to see my face, statements, etc. misused or misplaced somewhere i didn`t consent to. Or even worse, not see it or have the knowledge of where others do.

But that`s only my personal decision. People are different and others may be less aware or give away more freely.

And for your second question... i`m not very interested in viewing cams, i prefer conversation (and that can also be done by texting). So the few times i am in the ILI chat i usually don`t click people`s cams although it happened a few times that i was invited.
My statement was rather meant as an idiom meaning the same (about 30) people who are actually repeatedly using the chat.
