1. women aren't all that threatening/intimidating in general, so it takes away from the whole "dominant" factor. sure, a woman can ruin your life and that's more than enough to fear them, but unless you're mother russia from kickass chances are you won't be dominating anyone as a woman
2. stereotypes. if anyone is going to assume a woman is submissive, they're gonna pick the "white daddy's girl that can't take care of herself", not the "strong independent black woman dat don't need no man"
in other words, it's not your fault. people are going to assume you're submissive as much as they assume a short guy with muscles is overcompensating for his height. not much you can do about it. |
