I am interested in learning more about black germans during that time. Were they originally from german african colonies in east and south west africa? were any recruited in the german armies of WW1 and WW2 or did the nazis not allow it for the latter? How did your father and family escape the death camps? Did they flee the country, or were working in the war economy? Or did they serve the resistance or allies?
