Most folks (Black OR Otherwise) that use "The 'N' word" (any varied spelling) are MOSTLY "Under the Influence" of Rap Culture of the Past few Decades (not to be Mistaken for HipHop ... but that's another Forum Post in and of itself)

Media has helped to make the Word "Niggah" a part of "MTV Sucka Free Media" Culture; LMAO they don't make Music like in My day ... (Grumpy Old Man Scowl ... Motown was excellent ... LMAO x2 - j/k but seriously...)


40 Acres and a Mule aside ... In the context of IR Sex the "N" word is as much a Roleplay turn on for some, as the word "Slut" for others.

With a note that Understanding why its offensive to some should shed some light on why "The 'N' word" exists.

And now a short History of "The 'N' Word"...

The history of the word nigger is often traced to the Latin word niger, meaning black.

This word became the noun negro (black person) in English, and simply the color black in Spanish and Portuguese.

In Early Modern French niger became negre and, later, negress (black woman) was unmistakably a part of lexical history.

One can compare to negre the derogatory nigger and earlier English substitutes such as negar, neegar, neger, and niggor that developed into its lexico-semantic true version in English.

It is probable that nigger is a phonetic spelling of the white Southern mispronunciation of Negre.

No matter what its origins, by the early 1800s it was firmly established as a degenerative nickname. In the 21st century, it remains a principal symbol of white racism regardless of who is using it.

Social scientists refer to words like nigger, kike, spic, and wetback come from three categories:

disparaging nicknames (chink, dago, nigger, etc)

explicit group devaluations ( "Jew him down ..." OR "... niggering the land ...”)

irrelevant ethnic names used as a mild disparagement ("Irish confetti” for bricks thrown in a fight).

Racial slurs (over time) have victimized all racial and ethnic groups. These caricatures, whether spoken, written, or reproduced in media, and material objects, reflect the extent, the vast network, of Black Prejudice.

The following shortlist is important information on the words use and meaning Niggerish (A.K.A Acting in a lazy and irresponsible manner)!

Nigger
Coon
Tom
Picanniny
Mammy
Buck
Sambo
Jigaboo
Buckwheat
Porch Monkey
and so on ...

Many of these slurs became fully traditional pseudo-scientific, literary, cinematic, and everyday distortions of African Americans.

The word "Nigger" carries with it much of the hatred and disgust directed toward Black Africans and African Americans.

Historically, nigger defined, limited, made fun of, and ridiculed all Blacks. It was a term of exclusion, a verbal reason for discrimination. Whether used as a noun, verb, or adjective, it strengtened the stereotype of the lazy, stupid, dirty, worthless nobody.

No other American surname carries as much purposeful cruelty!

That word should be completely removed from the English vocabulary! I am a black man & I dont use it even amongst my peers! That word has so much history or derogatory insult & I hate it. That would make my dick go soft & put me in a different mind set! Ladies just say BBC or black dick or something like that! What I am getting thoroughly tired of is the PHRASE " the N word". Whenever I hear someone use it, I enjoy asking them, "What do you say if one of your kids comes up to you and asks,"what IS the N word, anyway?" I agree it should be removed from our language,but then youd still have those idiots that would use it.You know the type that ruin things for everyone.I also agree with the poster that said if a woman uses it, its usually from fucking him just out of rebellion or whatever. I have been asked to use it, and refuse.I just cringe when i hear it,and im white. I listen to a lot of hip hop and have a few friends that use it, i use it with them when im drunk from time to time. but all in all, its not a word i think any white people should really use. especially in the bedroom. its just disrespectful... True, you have a point there about most so called are white guys. (Totally agree.!) but I do know of 5 real (verified by me) blk men on these forums that get into that. Per chats/in person/post. So I do know of at least that many real blk men who it's their kink but I know of way more men who are against it orrrrr they won't admit it but then behind closed doors its a different thing. Ya just never know.. Even the age ranges are all over the place.

Well if I'm honest I do think its a bit disrespectful/wrong especially if its a chick I don't know that well/at all. I wouldn't like her calling me that just because I don't know her intellect/mentality that well...
But lets say its somebody I do know v well, it wouldn't bother me so much because I know she's smart enough to never say that word in public or in any other situation.
