I believe that the treatment of Ms. Deen by the TV FoodNetwork was too harsh, and that she should be forgiven for something she may have said in the past. At the same time, I realize that she is party to an harassment/discrimination lawsuit. If something can be legally established in connection with the specific allegations in that case, then she should have to answer for it and suffer any of the resulting consequences.

This is so stupid. Why would any black person enjoy being called a nigger or nigga under any circumstances? I always find it ignorant how my brother and sisters (black ppl) hates when a white person call them nigger or nigga, but yet they sit there and call each other nigga and be fine with it.
