Several possible points have been made already on some of the reasons about this and I'm sure they are true in certain instances. One thought that comes to my mind as to why it seems a lot of older women are into this could be the fact that many out there may have grown up during a time and place (I'm 43 and from Alabama so go figure) where it was VERY much taboo to be involved in relationships like this.
