They were happy to become grandparents, my mom helps me a lot.
But yeah you could guess that my dad wasn't super happy about the fact that the dad is african and so he also have mixed feelings about him not being around for the kid.
I also told them that my future kids would be mixed as well, so I guess he will have to deal with that one way or another

no I never talked about those subjects before, so it was a big announcement.
I never introduced any guy to them as well, so they didn't know I prefered black guys ^^'

I understand, you’ve must be so stressfull.
It was the same for me, when i’ve announced my daughter that her stpe-father is black and that i prefer black men.

I can't have any more children but my daughter, who is 22 and totally into black men, has said that when she's ready and able to provide a good life for her kids, she wants to be bred. She wants at least 3 with different fathers. That's my girl. Lol
