I had a similar problem with my first pregnancy.
Was still in a relationship with a sweet white guy from my town, but was also secretely seeing a black man in the nearby city.
Both had been fucking me bareback, being on the pill I didn't worry about it. Somehow, it didn't quite work though.
I moved away from our small town, to try and keep my pregnancy from becoming the top-theme, and stayed with my black lover. Yet I still didn't know who the father was during this time.
The toughest thing, though, was not being able to tell my boyfriend about my situation, he wouldn't have understood that I cheated on him - black or white.
When I finally gave birth to my first black/mixed son, the paternity was clear.
It was a huge weight that was taken off me, and I was free to enjoy being in a relationship with the father.
Your wife is lucky to have you, and that you are understanding.
