And what proof do you have to back up that assertion? I have read many, many informal polls on this, and what I've found is that it's roughly split down the middle. Just read the responses to this thread as a representative small sampling. Many men like it and/or have no preference. But many men also don't like it and/or prefer a clean shaven quim. I for one am HUGELY TURNED OFF by a hairy bush between a woman's legs, and there are plenty of men just like me. If you want a real accurate poll on whether MOST men prefer hairy pussy or shaved, just follow the "Requests" page on the biggest "wife" website on the internet, wifelovers. And you'll find that men request pictures of women with hairy pussies about 20-50 times as often as requests for pictures of shaved pussy. I guarantee you it isn't close what men prefer - hairy wins by much more than a hair.

But, it you were to sample only men who are younger than 30-32 or so, then the poll results would be different. I think most everyone would probably agree that if you prefer hairy or shaved it depends to a large degree on if you're a young guy or an older guy. Older guys 40+ prefer hairy.

Hate to burst your bubble. But the practice is by no means unusual, or recent.

Murals and mosaics from Greco-Roman times have depicted women with a clean shaven pubic area, and we're talking here about at least 2 millenia back in time.

Islam, since the times of the Prophet (so about 1380 years ago), has required BOTH Men and Women remove their pubic hair.
