LoL It's funny you would say that... I heard where we had the longest tenured helmets and probably very nearly longest tenured uniforms in the game along with PSU. Know why? Cuz they are classic and don't need fixing. When I hear someone say they like Oregon's uniforms my reply is, How can you? They obviously don't even like'em themselves since they change them every game.

On a serious note, not that I think it is likely, but seeing how Notre Dame has been in so many tight games this year, it would be interesting if we jumped out to an early lead (14?) just to see how the Irish would respond. Something tells me they would bounce back and make it a game. Have they been down by more than a score this year? Hell they only give up one score a game, probably not.

Yeah, what's up with the multiple helmets and unis? Besides Oregon, other teams that I noticed wearing multiples were Missouri, Mississippi State, Arizona State, and Stanford. Also Texas A&M. Even Notre Dame wore a jacked up helmet in their Chicago game against Miami I think it was. There are probably a few others I'm not recalling at the moment. Maybe Alabama and Penn State should experiment this was until they find something to bring them nicely into the 21st Century without sacrificing too much tradition LOL!

Speaking of Notre Dame comebacks, that's what turned me into a Fighting Irish fan. I remember watching Notre Dame highlights called by the great Lindsay Nelson on Sunday mornings. The Dame would be down at halftime like 43 t0 3, but they would almost ALWAYS comeback in the second half and win the game! Between that and Ronald Reagan in the classic role as George Gipp (that would be before I knew he was "Ronald Reagan" thank you), I joined the legion of fans of Notre Dame. I hope they pull out yet another classic win for the Gipper and send them southern boys packin'!

The Dame! Either you love 'um or you hate 'um. Don't be a hater! Cheer for the Dame to roll over the red tide and go as the undefeated national champions of college football!!

SMH!! Here, let me school you a little.. Pay close attention..

This thread was started back at the beginning of football season.. Notice how every week, I (and other members) BUMPED and replied within the SAME thread. I didn't start a new thread every time LSU was thinking of playing a game..TAKE NOTICE how other members have posted within the thread, it's all neat and tidy in one place instead of all scattered all over the place.. Keeps things TIDY. That way when the members want to post or read an update, they know where to find it

Also it's proper forum etiquette to keep threads running instead of making work for the host/mods..

Thanks for complaining in a thread that's a perfect example of how things should be done.. Made for an easier lesson.. Class dismissed.

Typical sec bigot. Nobody runs on ND. We've been hearing this kind of trash talk all year. If Alabama runs on ND they will be the first this season. Btw, you question ND's schedule???....If Missouri didn't have A QB that throws like a girl, Florida would have two losses instead of one. ND has no losses. Florida blows almost as much as LSU. I wish ND were playing them.

The only crying shame is that most sec teams play creampuffs when they play outside their conference. Towson??? Tulsa??? Wofford???? To name a few.

Also, back in the day, Urban Myer ran to Florida because ND's academic standard was a problem in his eyes. He was afraid to be head coach at ND. Are you aware that he was an assistant at ND before heading south and eventually landing at Ohio State where there are few, if any, restrictions on who he can recruit? Eff him!

speaking of uniforms. OMG I can't stand to look at ND's helmets!!! Looks like a bunch of golden Easter eggs. It actually hurts my eyes to see those gay ass things out there on the field. We have teams here and their colors are gold too but damn they know better than running out on the field looking like that. It's December, Easter isn't for a few more months. Smh.

Sorry dear Alley but what's gay is having little stickers all over a team helmet as a reward for making plays. Like the silly little dog bones Georgia players receive for doing what coach tells them to do. It truly doesn't get any gayer than that. It's like that little star the teacher put on your paper back in kindergarten when you got an A. Like I said...gay. SEC...gay. LSU...gay.
