It was Miss Alley who turned the upcoming game between Notre Dame and Alabama into a regional battle . . . well, at least on this site anyway But, I just heard something interesting on ESPN. Virtually all of Bama's team comes from Alabama and other parts of the South. Notre Dame, on the other hand, fields a team with players from across the nation. So, in a sense, this will be the South against "them damn yankees"! Haha!

TND, where are u from? Down here in the South we (they) take college football very serious. Its almost like a religion to watch and root for your favorite team on Saturdays. It goes deep and I'm sure Mustang can vouch, you either grew up in that state, your parents were life long fans of a certain school and you are now a die hard of that school etc. This shit goes deep down here. Lol

I'm originally from the South, so I know the deal. There are some HIGH SCHOOLS in Texas with mini pro-style stadiums! They don't have the seating capacity obviously, but they are very nicely appointed "bowl" type stadiums. Everything is big in Texas, including some high school football facilities!

Generations after generations!! From the day your born till the day you die, your team is is the same as your grand pappy's team.. Soooo imagine my family's horror when I tossed away their Bama religion and started worshipping in the house of LSU. The shock and the horror of it all!!
So many discussions and debates as to why I would choose the LSU path.. The worst comment that has been said to me about liking LSU, was being called a N-word lover. That comment was off the wall crazy!! So yea FB is taking to crazy levels down here..

Damn really???? Last time I checked Bama's team was majority black. As well as majority of college football teams. So calling u a N lover for liking LSU is crazier then a fish wit titties.
