Btw both blacks and whites both have called on Jamie Foxx to apologize for his racist comments. You are pretty isolated in your racist way of thinking.

Does racism still exist in US and the world YES, but in a more subdued manner rather than the days of constitutional approved "Jim Crow Laws (1876 -->1965). Those days were a blackman would be lynched for looking at a white lady. The days where if they didn't want you for vote they didn't count your vote if they allowed you to vote (Didn't need any voter ID Laws) And we are not that far removed from those days of black inferiority movies playing the maid, chauffeur or the butler. We should always take time to honor those that have endured so we could have it better than they did, and teach those whom don't know so we don't end up back there because we think they got here all by themselves. It should be looked at, as "in spite of" not inferiority, that's how the mass media looks at people. We stand on the shoulders of those that have come before us... from Elijah McCoy, 10th Cavalry to Colin Powell and so on. If we do not learn from our history.... we are doomed to repeat it!!! I don't like everything about anybody personality, including myself find something in common and build from there Ya B EZ now

Thank you for the breath of fresh air in this vile thread. I have been in the sandbox (Thank you Alley and Cali for sharing your cake and for letting me play with your toys lol) but I do want to thank you for reminding us that we have the people who came before us to thank for where we are today. Tomorrow, January 1st, will mark the passage of 150 years since Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863. A lot has happened in that time, some good, some bad, but we all have the same goals in life as humans, as we walk/run/toil/crawl on our journey, and that is to create a better world for our children, and to have our basic needs of food, shelter, and sex met. I can personally say that I respect every single person I meet until they give me reason to do otherwise, and I went to college for 8 years and many of my university professors were black. The president of my university is black. The president of this great nation is black. And 150 years is not that long of a time really in the grand historical record so what I wanted to say was that I think we have come a long way, though there is still much more to do. I thank all of those people, black and white, who came before us and helped us on our journey.
Peace and love to all in the coming year... ;)

Well said and is exactly how I feel. I know I could have maybe handled this situation better. Racism in any form is evil and not acceptable. I have a very hard time with any racist. So I guess in this case I let my temper get the best of me. To me this was not about a movie, but strictly about racism in general. History has happened and can't be taken back, but we have come a long ways. When I see a racist I tend to call them out. I hate I upset others on here and will try my best not to let someone bait me into this stuff again. This guy probably doesn't even care enough to remember it but he was extremely offensive, racist and sexist to my wife when she was on the site. She has decided not to even get on the site anymore because of him, and all the fakes on here. She says it isn't worth it to her. Anyhow, all of that is why I take great exception to him when he acts like he does. It takes a real pussy to talk to a woman like he did. He is lucky as hell is what he is. Again I apologize for offending anyone on here, but I think any husband would take exception to all the racist and other stuff he said to my wife. In the future I will ignore him and try my best to take the high road.

There are alot of black men in that movie I would have loved to see with white women, not even just for sex but dating and having children together, there are a few scenes in it with white women looking at the black men like they wnated them..I bet they really did but there was so much hatred and racism back then. It made me with I could bring a hundred or so black men back from then to our time and let them be with white women, or if I could go back in time with fourty or so women for them to comfort them, that movie really made me think..I highly recommend you all go see it!

First of all I just have to say im very dissapointed in this Interracial Communtiy; or atleast the few that posted in this thread calling me a "Idiot" for my topic post or "Childish".. As you can clearly see from the original title and my post quote above I was talking about a movie set in the 1860s about black slavery, and I wish interracial was more accepted back then and that there were dozens of handsome black men I would have loved to see with white women, but the trolls took over and put words in my mouth, maybe I should just delete the topic? maybe I will just leave it up so if anyone wishes to go see the movie they can do so since its highly recommended on my movie list.

Personally, I hope Tarantino does a 70's style horror meets Italian horror mixed with asian cult cinema next.

I understand you wanting interracial dating back then but bruh we are talking about slavery.I think blk people not being slaves and\or blk people being given the opportunity to learn how to read and write is far more important the interracial fucking during slavery. And that's why people responded the way they did. And interracial fucking was happening then whether it was massa taking what he wanted or the wives sneaking and getting what they could get from the male slaves.

Lol, oh yea like I'm sure this thread is gonna make everyone wanna see this movie..

Nobody "put words in your mouth", you and you alone posted your thoughts. From your thoughts came our opinions and feelings. Maybe you need to learn to take a more cautious approach to such a sensitive subject as this and not some fantasy BS...

Mustang Alley 01-02-2013 04:36 PM

Now there's the Mandingo I know and luv..

This post honestly just sounds fake man. Fake posts, racists, etc. should always be called out. I don't see how you can be serious with what you said. It doesn't really fit together. The movie was an action movie set in the 1800's. Gunfighting, killing, revenge, slavery. That all doesn't seem to fit with what you got from it. Makes no sense.

Saw it when it hit theaters. Decent movie and honestly better than I thought it would be as far as the plot goes and worth watching. Slavery and love are what drive the story, but they aren't what the story is about; it's about good guys getting revenge and bad guys getting their comeuppance. The movie doesn't reflect the true environment of the time it's set in, so you shouldn't watch it thinking that it's an honest depiction. Yes Tarantino wanted it to seem authentic, but as usual his exaggeration wasn't limited to just the violent gun fights. Without going too deep into it, I'll just say that this is a work of fiction based on historical circumstances.

P.S.that white girl with desire in her eyes for Django was a cameo done by Amber Tamblyn.

NeoGen85 01-05-2013 03:34 AM

I'll give it up to Mr. Jackson and Leonardo for their performances. Still, I was expecting much more out of this film. And Kerry Washington is still fine!

strange1 01-05-2013 06:38 AM

I just need to see this because Franco Nero...the guy who played the orignal Django is in it somewhere!!

babs275 01-20-2013 08:10 PM

Pullleeeeeeeeeeeze! I actually deluded myself into thinking that it might be ok. It was probably the absolute worse POS I have ever seen in my life! And for SOOOOOOOO many reasons. Story, acting, fantasy bullshit, and tons of technical ones.

When Flight of the Intruder tried to use a wire circle to stand in for Olongapo City it was because they a $100 budget and even then it was only the one scene. Every single scene in Django is as bad or worse. Was Tarantino suddenly unable to raise any money? Talk about fucking up an opportunity . . . .

And to think..... I just came here to see some sexy ass people of different skin color to be happily enjoying some diversity and fucking like rabbits. Some of you people need a hobby.
Why do white dudes come to this site if they have such a low opinion of blacks?
