Fifth, and finally, recognize this for what it is, do not practice self deception. This is manipulation, at the least, brainwashing at worst. I have concluded, in my own heart, that manipulating my wife into being that which will give her more happiness and satisfaction, and make our marriage even stronger (and it has done all of these) is not immoral. I am, in a sense, manipulating her into recognizing and accepting her true nature - even though she did not recognize it was there.
