I haven't had the misfortune of meeting at a hotel and having the people get cold feet at the last minute, but, as we prefer to host, have had no-shows. What is almost as unfortunate are the men who think it will be cool to be with a wife with the husband present, but are actually very uncomfortable with the reality; they don't relax enough to have a good time and I end up being polite rather than fulfilled.

By contrast we've had some wonderful erotic encounters with experienced people. Everybody has to start somewhere with the lifestyle, but it can be a tremendous letdown when someone talks a good game yet does not walk the walk.

I commend you on your good nature in dealing with this situation. We're all people, of course, not robots, but wannabe lifestylers should consider the disappointment their reluctance causes for those of us who take our pleasure seriously!
